What counts as a machine
Counts toward your 25
Anything with an engine, a motor or its own power source, and anything that lifts under its own power — excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, rollers, hoists, scissor lifts, boom lifts, cranes, generators, compressors, pumps, powered hand tools logged as assets.
Doesn't count — unlimited on both plans
Lifting accessories and attachments — slings, shackles, chains, chain blocks, eyebolts, spreader beams, lifting points, buckets, breakers, quick hitches — plus anything you've retired or off-hired.
A lifting register of 300 accessories and 20 machines sits inside the Free plan.
Whoever sets up the account pays. Everyone you invite — main contractors, subcontractors, hire firms, inspectors — gets access at no extra cost for as long as the project runs. Retired and off-hired plant stops counting toward the Free allowance, and every record stays available permanently on either plan.
If you reach 25 machines on Free, nothing is locked, hidden or deleted. Your register, certificates, QR labels and packs keep working exactly as they are — you just can't add a twenty-sixth machine until you go Pro or retire something.
